Final Blog Post

As I wrap up this course, I want to highlight a few tools we used that I hadn’t mentioned before and share my final thoughts.

Tools We Used

  • Padlet: for sharing ideas and collaborating.
  • Flipgrid: for video discussions and connecting with classmates.
  • Job Search Tools: like LinkedIn, Indeed, and Handshake, to explore career opportunities.
  • Canva: for creating visuals and presentations.
  • Google Workspace: Docs, Sheets, and Slides for collaboration.

Reflection

This course gave me practical experience with tools I’ll continue to use.

What I liked:

  • Hands-on practice with platforms that are useful in real life.
  • Collaborative tools that made online learning feel more connected.
  • Career-focused resources that are tied directly to professional growth.

What challenged me:

  • Learning multiple tools at once and staying organized.
  • Adjusting communication styles depending on the platform.
  • Managing time when assignments required both learning and creating.

  • Moving forward:

    • I’ll use Padlet and Flipgrid for group projects.
    • Job search platforms will help me build my career.
    • Canva and Google Workspace will be part of my everyday work for polished documents and presentations.

    Overall, this course gave me more than just knowledge; it gave me a toolkit I can use in school, work, and beyond.

Chapter 11 Summary - Prezi

  I really enjoyed using Prezi; it made my presentation look more engaging and visually appealing. It was my first time trying it out, and I’ll definitely use it again for school or work projects. One thing I think could be better is the text formatting. Having more template options would help make everything look more polished and consistent.
